Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to identify various species of invertebrates in the aquatic environments of the Massapequa Preserve and Blydenburgh Park, and determine the similarity between the species. Invertebrates are an essential component to an environment and are an essential part of the food webs of any ecosystem.
