Abstract:

The goal of this project is to know what types of mosquito species are in Brooklyn, and if the species of mosquitos nearby are the species that hold diseases like the Zika virus, Malaria and the West Nile virus. We used the DYNA Trap to trap and collect the mosquitoes, and we collected them in people's backyards.
