Abstract:
The field of eDNA is only recently being applied to marine environments. This project hopes to survey a ten mile stretch of the Great South Bay just south of Western Suffolk County from west to east. Hopefully, eDNA will provide interesting and accurate information regarding the species of fish that can be found in these waters as the season turns to winter.
