Abstract:

The aim is to analyze the trees that cover the area of Union Square and Callicoon, a town in Sullivan County, and see how biodiversity acts between two different areas. First we will get leaves from the trees. Second we will extract the DNA. Third we will do PCR with the DNA of each tree and then when send it to a DNA so they can give us the sequence of each tree’s DNA. And finally we can use barcoding to see which ones have the species or have the closest species to the other trees.
