Abstract:

The goal of this project is to determine the effects of vernalization at -20°C on seed germination. Samples will be collected along the flood plain of the Bronx River, located on the Bronx Botanical Garden. Morphotying and DNA Barcoding will be used to identify species that will be compared to a known database.
