Abstract:

As current students of an Advanced Placement Biology class this year, we are studying about the environmental pollution and would like to propose a lab research assignment on living organisms. Our team consists of four women in the twelfth grade: Brianna, Jessamyn, Ester, and Cheyenne. There are many diverse environments in Cunningham Park where we can collect our species from. We plan on determining the amount of human traffic in an area and how this affects the amount of biodiversity of beetles in those areas. We can determine the difference by collecting from low traffic locations and those that are highly populated.
