Abstract:

The bacterial communities within high schools and public transportation will be examined to identify the correlation between them. Two procedures will be performed to analyze the results in depth. These methods of experimentation are sequencing and plating. The outcomes will help identify the similarities and differences in bacterial content between the high schools and the public transportation. This research intends to increase health literacy among students and schools. Since NYC has such a diverse population, we must be aware of our surroundings.
