Invasive Southern Beetle Species on the Longwood High School Campus: Effect of Climate Change

Abstract:

We propose to collect beetle specimens from the school campus in order to discover whether climate change is causing the appearance of a variety of invasive southern species of beetles. These species may include blister beetles, which are harmful to humans on contact.
