Abstract:

We are interested in determining which species are currently living within our pond, to use this information in helping to determine the overall health of our pond ecosystem. In determining which species of macroinvertebrates we have, we will also be able to determine any potential health risk to community members, by identifying those macroinvertebrates as potential hosts for infectious diseases.
