Abstract:

We propose to sample invertebrates found in the vegetative areas of Oakland Lake, in Queens, New York. This lake has undergone a number of rounds of construction in and around it throughout its history. The biodiversity of soil invertebrates may host a number of potential threats to humans - containing parasites.
