Abstract:

The goal of this study is to determine whether or not seawater flooding from Hurricane Sandy had an effect on invertebrate aquatic microorganisms in freshwater ponds. Taking part in the Barcode Long Island project will allow one recognize the impact of flooding on the diversity of Long Island’s freshwater ponds.
