Abstract:

This project will include barcoding benthic invertebrates from three locations in Green's Creek that vary in their physical characteristics of water flow, substrate grain size, and organic debris. Barcoding will allow for confirmation of taxonomic species collected and provide important information to assess biodiversity and relative health of the creek locations. Novel barcodes, not yet entered in Genbank will be evaluated.
