Abstract:
In this Long Island Barcoding Project, we propose to investigate if the location of the lichen population on Sugar Maples affects what kind of lichen at that location. We hypothesize that different fungus and algae will be present in different locations on Shelter Island in the lichen on Sugar Maple trees.
