Abstract:

Mosquitoes may seem like small insects and pests, but due to their abundance, they affect the daily lives of humans. They serve as a vector for diseases that can profoundly affect human life. It’s extremely important that we begin locally tracking species of mosquitoes to ensure that we are prepared for diseases because mosquitoes are constantly evolving to the modern climate and community. The results of our barcode would help us analyze the risks of diseases in New York City, and provide us with data on how to move forward. It will serve as a model for other urban centers.
