Abstract:

Our goal is to narrow down the list of damselfly species that may reside in the water body behind Christ the King High School, and to confirm what we determined to be the most likely species using DNA Barcoding. Our group has harvested damselfly nymphs from a small pond in Middle Village, Queens County, New York. ( Western end of geographic Long Island)
