Abstract:

Cunningham Park is a heavily traffic area in queens. The biodiversity of the park is currently of interest due to the known effects of human activities and pesticide use. This study plans to investigate the impact of attempts to control tick populations in Cunningham Park that has been exposed to pesticide use and sees its effects on the biodiversity of other organisms. It is hypothesized that due to these variables, the biodiversity will be lower when compared to areas of less human activity.
