Abstract:

Jones Beach is an area found on the south shore of Long Island and home to a variety of species. The beach is exposed to the Atlantic Ocean and experiences a great deal of environmental phenomenon, such as hurricanes and erosion. The purpose of this study is to examine the biodiversity of invertebrates at Jones Beach.
