Abstract:

Insects can be large or small and come in a variety of different colors. The colors can be used to find a mate or even to ward off predators using a pattern that makes them look like a larger animal. Lindenhurst is a suburban town with a population of about 27,283. There is little space where there are no buildings ,so in turn there is most likely less biodiversity in concentrated areas. We believe that long island will be very diverse in some areas and in some species, but much less diverse in other areas.
