Abstract:

Two Northport HS students plant to conduct an invertebrate biodiversity study along the Nissequogue River in Smithtown, NY. Samples will be collected at the river’s source and mouth. The students will compare the diversity of species at each end of the river, and identify native vs. non-native species collected.
